A Literary Analysis of African Identity: Racial and Generational Disunity for Women's Roles within Arrows of Rain by Okey Ndibe
This paper will seek to understand racial identity within Africa through the novel ATrows of Rain by Okey Ndibe. By understanding the main character, Ogugua, we can realize the role women play in his life. By losing his own racial identity, we can see how a generational gap in courage and morality are lost within Ogugua as he runs from the issues of tyranny and loss of nationality that threaten Madia.
