Racism is a matter of being discriminated against simply because of skin color. It is amazing that racism would take place right in the nursing profession. After all, nurses are supposed to be professionals and well-educated individuals. Secondly, they are in the profession of caring. The health care system is one where racism should never be expected, simply because the whole basis of it is care.
