The aim of this paper is to make an analysis of the "Native son" written by Richard Wright with regard to the problems of racism and attitude of society towards Black people. The report reflects the views of the Black writer to this issue as well as social, psychological and economic factors that influenced the behavior of African American citizens in the USA in the first half of the twentieth century.
