An Analysis of Republican and Democratic Values in the Great Depression and World War II
This paper will examine the traditional roles of the two-party system in America during the Great Depression and in World War II. By understanding Roosevelt's Democratic Party Platform, we can see typical Democratic policy, which supported the "Common people". On the other side of the coin, we can see how Republicans, and their traditional busuness values, caused the Great Depression, that helped push Roosevelt into a major world war.
