This paper will seek to understand the modus operadi for taxation on cigarettes in America, and how this preventing children from smoking. In this way,we can show elasticity of demand, supply and demand, and the tax incidence, which support the fact the children have slowly declined in smoking this product. The tax appears to be working in preventing children from smoking in America.
