This paper presents an evaluation on Henry Klassen’s book Eye on the Future: Business People in Calgary and the Bow Valley, 1870-1900. The thesis of the book and arguments the book presents are examined and discussed in this paper. As well the originality and the perspective of the author are detailed and discussed. My opinion of the book, its contents and the author's presentation will also be included.
