This is a report on the book "The Prince and the Pooch" by Caroline Leavitt, a story in whcih in which the dog Wishbone from television imagines himself in the story "The Prince and the Pauper" by Mark Twain, a story about two young men who were identical, one a prince and the other a pauper, and they meet and trade places for a few days, each finding out what it means to live a different life while also encountering many problems in getting back to their own lives.
