This paper anlayzes the problem of uncollectible accounts receivable and what to do about tehm, noting what various writers say on the issue, noting that there will always be some uncollectible accounts and that the issue is thus raised as to how these accounts should be treating by the accounting profession, noting that the two most common methods are a wirte-off or the allowance method.
