Case Study APA Ethics Standards on Education and Training
This paper shall discuss a hypothetical ethical dilemma. Sara is a professor teaching a writing skills course and innocently runs into a student of hers, Tom, at an art gallery. After spending the evening getting to know him better, she discovers that he is intelligent, handsome, kind, considerate, funny, and they have much in common. The next Monday, after class, she finds herself being asked out by Tom, and is faced with the choice of whether or not to accept. APA Code of Ethics guidelines, specifically Section 7.07 are discussed, as well as other guidelines in place in other institutions.
