Education and Administration in Secondary Schools: Techniques of teacher Assessment.
This paper discusses the development and uses of teacher evaluation techniques at the secondary-school level. Formative vs. summative (process vs. product) evaluation techniques are explained in depth, as well as the practice of observation. Suggestions for improved observation programs are put forth, and the conclusion reiterates the importance of observation and evaluation as part of a continued effort to improve the quality of secondary education. 8 pgs. 7 f/c. 5b.
