School Psychologists Training In and Use of Neuropsychological Models of Reading Disorders
This paper provides a format for a study into the "Neuropsychological Model" for reading disabilities. This strategy is one in which the abilities of the child are applied to the norm, and addressed according to categorical identification of the reading disorder. While an easy method of identifying and responding to reading disorders, this method suggests that school psychologists do not have appropriate training.
