The protestant Reformation in Germany in 1500 could be called "Lutherism" as much of the problems surrounding this era came from the work of one man - Martin Luther. His 95 thesis and the consequent response from the peasants of the time and area, were one of the most raidcal forms of iconoclasm for over 400 years.
