The History of the People's of San Jose: The Lynching of Brooke Hart.
This paper will discuss the history of the Santa Clara area of California, and illuminate the events at St. James Park that ignited the lynching it became famous for is San Jose. In the kidnapping of this wealthy son of a department store owner, the history that this relates elevated this county into a controversial trial, and act of vigilantism.
