This paper will discuss the role of men in society, women in society, family in society, proper relationship between humans and gods, what makes life worth living, and what happens after we are dead in the Iliad and the Odyssey. By analyzing the text of these stories by Homer, we can realize the systems of thought this author held in the times h lived in.
