Comparison of Categorical Imperative and the Golden.
Could the Categorical Imperative be as simple as the Golden Rule? What are similarities in the two? How are they different? The three formulas expressing the Golden Rule are equivalent to the three formulas expressing the Categorical Imperative, because Kant's notion of a rational will and Slater's notion of a self-loving will are identical concepts. I agree that these are the same because they exist around the concept of duty-based ethics, universal laws, and respect for people.
