Although most of Plato's discussion about the Theory of Recollection is contained in his works "Menos", Socrates makes some interesting comments on this theory in conjunction with the Immortality of the Souls ideal in his second speech in Plato's Phaedus. While oblique Socrates clearly defines the idea of recollection as proof that our souls are immortal.
