This paper looks at the foreign policy of Nazi Germany. The author believes that the Versailles Treaty had set the foundation for Nazi foreign policy, but anti-Semitism gave it its life. German humiliation in World War One and German anti-Semitism combined together to cause the rise of the Neo-Nazis and shape their foreign policy. It would be a diplomacy marked by a resentment that sought vengeance. In the climate of humiliation, that Germans believed they had suffered, the Nazis framed a foreign policy around nationalism and a thirst for revenge.
