Jung's insight into the allegorical figure and the lessons of Job, as they remain very important elements of Myth that are attached to the Judeo-Christian tradition that has had such great importance to the development of Western civilization. As much as the last 2000 years are telescoped under a theme of Christendom, we see that as Joseph Campbell suggested, older myths remain powerful.
