An Analysis of Jealousy and Envy in Othello by William Shakespeare
This paper will examine the role of envy and jealousy in the tragedy Othello by William Shakespeare. By understanding the greater envy of Iago to cause much of the destruction in the play, we can learn that Othello's jealousy takes a lesser role in the effects that Iago produces. By understanding how Iago affects the Fate of all involved, jealousy takes a secondary role in this play.
