Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream, of a world where people of all colors see each other for the people they truly are, and not the color of their skin, has become a poignant moment in America’s history. However, forty years later, in many ways, his dream has yet to be realized, especially in the American workplace. Although the dream had been conceived and people have struggled to achieve it, one may question why it has not come to fruition. What policies have been implemented to correct this inequality?
