This paper will analyze the essay "Drug Policy and the Intellectuals." From the book Current Issues and Enduring Questions: A Guide to Critical Thinking and Argument, with Readings by authors Ed Sylvan Barnet and Hugo Beda. By revealing the nature of the policy of intellectuals in the policymaking region of drug law, we can see how they are idealistically allowing drugs to be commonplace in our society.
