This paper will examine this debate, and explore how the advocates of diversity are successfully - although, admittedly, with difficulty - countering the monolithic bias. In the course of this discussion, it will be shown how the role of the state, far from assuming a progressive or even a neutral position in the debate, are actually reinforcing discrimination through policies designed to accelerate the disruption of families that do not fit the monolithic bias. 8 pgs.
