The topic of this paper discusses why the student wants to be a chef. The whole culinary arts field is exploding with opportunities. Top chefs are now glamorous celebrities, commanding six-figure income. New restaurants are opening everywhere, everyday. This means a choice for job opportunities and location, higher salaries, more benefits and extra perks. These are the brighter side of any profession. People tend to look at the success, but not the sweat and labor that is involved in achieving that status. This implies for every profession including the culinary art. Real success is not automatic. It's a matter of getting the right training and making the right moves from day one. Cooking has always been my passion.
