a survey to ascertain the type of ethical training that is being
used in business today to orient new hires and to bring management
to an understanding of the ethical concerns and requirements
of society today, noting whether companies have a set of ethical
standards, communicate this to employees and see that employees
then adhere to those standards.

21229 Strategic
Management
This paper analyzes the proposition that statement "We are blind
people and strategy formation is our elephant," indicating the
difficulty involved in forming a strategy on the basis of the
knowledge usually possessed about the market, the competition,
and research on the market. Much about the process is intended
to give us the necessary information to create a strategy, but
in truth, those formulating strategy are effectively blind because

This paper is an analysis of a case study of the use of due
diligence to determine if a project is viable for the company

company is sufficient to make the project worthwhile and profitable,
or if it could become a boondoggle that would cost more than
it can ever return and damage the company.

21273 Accommodations
for Psychiatric Disabilities
The Americans with Disabilities Act has been a substantial boon
to those with physical disabilities – who can now ask employers
to do such things as install ramps for wheelchairs and make
office equipment accessible to people who are deaf or have limited
vision – so long as these accommodations are “reasonable”. What
constitutes such a standard of reasonableness has, as one might
expect, been a matter of much debate, some civil, some informal,
some taking place within courtrooms. Employers have tended to
argue that many of the accommodations requested by those arguing
for disability rights are not reasonable because of the financial
cost involved while those who advocate making workplaces accessible
argue that not only is it the right thing to do but that employers
will benefit in the end because they will gain the expertise
– and loyalty – of qualified workers (Rogers etal., 1997).
